Industrial coffee table and stools

Suroy crates were used in textile factories in the 1950s. Near lyon, all this history is still present (strong textile production activity in beaujolais vert, but also south of lyon) and we recently acquired several of these 50s boxes to give them a new life! This set consists of a coffee table accompanied by three crates transformed into stools with a vintage look. The white cotton seat was made by our upholsterer. We really like the preserved industrial details: the metal, the fasteners. We chose a basque red to further highlight the raw pine wood-metal combination. A diverted industrial set that will add pep to a bohemian decor for example. Seat height of the stools: 47 cm.
