Set of 6 Tunstall flat plates in English Ironstone Amazon pattern circa 1880

Set of six flat plates from the English earthenware factory Tunstall, “Amazon” service dating from the 1880s in ecru-colored ironware with a brown floral, plant and animal pattern with a beautiful detail of fine stripes to create shadows and relief. A slightly faded golden line in places highlights the edge of the plate to contrast with the brown shadows. In perfect general condition despite some slight cracks on the enamel which contribute to the authentic patina, without chips or cracks, centerpiece of our selection, this old service with a singular shape and delicate pattern will find its place in your kitchen and will bring a vintage touch to your table decoration.
