Superb Siesta armchair designed by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa, a classic of Scandinavian design. It stands out for its wooden structure with curved and airy lines, its slightly inclined high backrest, its armrests, and its excellent seating comfort. The armchair has been completely reupholstered in a beautiful off-white boucle/mouton fabric. It is now in impeccable condition, ready to be installed. The set is offered with an IKEA footrest. This is not original, nor designed by Ingmar Relling, but it matches particularly well with the armchair: its structure and wood tone are very similar, and its cushion has been reupholstered in exactly the same fabric as the armchair to create a perfectly harmonious ensemble. The contrast between the warm wood and the white upholstery gives it a very elegant and contemporary look, while maintaining the spirit of Nordic design from the 1960s/70s. Perfect for a vintage, seventies, modernist, Scandinavian, or contemporary interior. New value between €2800-3800 and second-hand in conditions sometimes leaving much to be desired around €750... Dimensions of the armchair: Height: 95 cm. Width: 65 cm. Depth: 80 cm. Condition: armchair completely reupholstered, in impeccable condition. Footrest: matching IKEA model, not original, reupholstered in the same fabric as the armchair.
