A pair of wall sconces designed by the famous Dutch designer Louis Kalff for Philips in the 1960s. These pieces perfectly embody the Mid-Century Modern style with their combination of solid teak and opaline glass. The cylindrical diffuser is notable for its geometric relief decoration of "diamond points, " creating a soft and very graphic play of light once the lamps are turned on. Product details: Designer: Louis Kalff. Publisher: Philips. Materials: Bevelled teak base, pressed white opaline glass diffuser. Condition: Very good condition. Natural patina of the wood and glass without cracks or chips. Installation: Simple wall mounting, original functional electricity (E14 bulbs). A minimalist and warm design, ideal for framing a mirror or as reading lights on either side of a bed.
