24-piece cutlery set, modernist design, Sillage model, each cutlery signed Philippe Costard + stamp. Dating from the 1985s, it is in very good condition, in solid polished 'mirror' steel made by the excellent cutlery goldsmith Chabanne in Thiers, now defunct. Presence of the cardboard box in vintage condition, yellowed. Cutlery 20.5 cm knives 22.5 cm. Very original, high quality, 18/10 quality steel, heavy in the hand, a true manifesto of radical modernist design. The knives cut very well, the teeth of the forks are remarkably fine and sharp!
