In this advertisement, you will find a "Cabinett" sofa, designed by Josef Hoffmann for Dr Johannes Salzer's apartment in Vienna, around 1902. The sofa was reintroduced to the public by Wittmann, who acquired the design rights from Josef Hoffmann and manufactured it in the late 1980s. The sofa is made of solid walnut and upholstered in silk fabric with a floral/tropical pattern. The sofa is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and use, such as small scratches. The fabric is in good condition, but it can easily be reupholstered in the fabric of your choice, a service offered by our workshop.
