Charming little louis XVI period child's writing desk, in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer, opening on the front with an upper drawer, a flap covered in black leather gilded with small irons, revealing two small drawers, as well as three drawers in the lower part. The uprights are canted and decorated with fluting, all resting on four straight legs. The top is in white veined marble (probably carrara), slightly overhanging. Beautiful original bronze ornamentation. This rare piece of furniture in this format was intended for learning to write, designed to the size of a child. Dimensions: height: 113 cm width: 49.5 cm depth: 26 cm authentic antique furniture, in good general condition. Visible traces of insolation (discoloration of the wood by the sun on the exposed parts), leather of the flap in good condition with some wear. Small marks of time compatible with the age of the furniture.
