Chest of drawers from the liner France (1960). Rare model. Specially designed order for the layout of the luxurious first class cabins of the most legendary French ship. Designed by Henri Lancel and manufactured by Nusbaumer. In blue lacquered aluminum (rare model) and covered in ivory-colored fabric. Lapis lazuli-style resin top (decorated with a polychrome abstract composition with a blue predominance) brushed aluminum belt. Four drawers on the front with a central aluminum handle. The owner of the liner wanted on the one hand a "fireproof" boat and on the other hand, a boat as light as possible. Even fireproof wood, which was once the basic material, was therefore banned, as was marble because of its heaviness. We still have several models in stock. Some have a beige color instead of blue. Make an offer. Length: 75.5 cm. Depth: 55 cm. Height: 76 cm. Very good condition.
