Original lithograph limited to only 25 copies by the world-renowned French artist Michel HENRY (1922-2002). Circa: 2005. The lithograph features two bouquets placed in two glass vases in the foreground, with the city of Paris and the Montmartre monument in the background. Michel-Henry was fond of this technique of combining a floral still life with a Parisian landscape in the background. This work is part of a series dedicated to Paris created around 2005. Each lithograph in the series showcases a bouquet in front of a different panorama of the capital. The lithograph is numbered in the margin in pencil XX / XXV (20/25) at the bottom left and signed by the artist in pencil in the margin at the bottom right. This is an important point, as limited editions of 25 copies are the most sought after by the artist. Dimensions (including margins): 45 X 30 cm. The lithograph is in excellent condition! It is kept flat and will be sent in a sturdy flat box! (The lithograph will not be rolled) Very careful and protected shipping! A bit of history: Michel Henry is a valued French artist. He is recognised for his contributions to contemporary art. Henry's influence on contemporary French art is considerable, with his works being acknowledged and awarded by various institutions, including the French government and several museums.
