Soup tureen and its sleeper

Oval-shaped soup tureen in Rouen earthenware and its frame (underside of the pat). It rests on four feet. Earthenware with a white background, hand-painted polychrome decoration with motifs of flower scrolls, lambrequins, foliage and grids. Fretel (handle for gripping the lid) in the shape of a stylized flower, mascarons representing the faces of fauns. The frame with oge has a central promontory on which the feet of the soup tureen rest perfectly, thus giving it a certain momentum. Below the frame, apocryphal mark "handmade". The dish is slightly chipped underneath, cannot be seen in presentation (see photo).
