Extraordinary composition, asymmetric bookcase with two cabinets in rosewood by preben sorensen and manufactured by ps system, randers in the 60s. The whole set is veneered in beautiful grain rosewood hangs on solid wood rails, that have been remade. Especially noteworthy are the brass details of the cabinet. This shelving system is entirely modular and can be arranged upon one needs using the slots spaced every 5 cm. You can hang the cabinets lower or higher or move one of them to the shorter side. Five 100 cm rails provide various arrangement possibilities, but when they are vertically mounted, the connection point is barely visible. The set consists of: 2 shelves 20 cm deep, 1 shelf 25 cm deep. A cabinet with sliding doors with inner shelf; h: 50 / w: 80 / d: 45 cm. A glass cabinet h: 35 / w: 80 / d: 35 cm. 5 wooden wall rails 100 cm long. Brass fittings and bolts. The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have made sure that all drawers and doors work properly. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here we have only cleaned the wood and the original varnish was refreshed with professional compounds. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering they are 60 years old. The veneer on the lower cabinet is not perfectly even, but it is barely noticeable, one can feel it more in touch. It is perfectly usable and the veneer is not loose. It looks like uneven glues distribution during the production. Clients from all around the world have trusted our work and its fruits.
