Unique piece handcrafted in our Belgian workshop, from the first strap to the last nail. Frame made of 100% new solid beech, featuring the characteristic fluting and rosettes of the Louis XVI style. Treated with Rubio Monocoat Natural oil, a finish that nourishes and protects the wood deeply without weighing it down or making it plastic-like. End of series, no longer in production. The upholstery is done according to traditional 19th-century techniques: hand-tensioned webbing, individually tied copper springs, vegetable hair, animal hair, wadding, and Dacron. No industrial foam. A rare work, documented with photos. City Velvet Reloaded fabric, high-end contract quality velvet, Martindale 100,000 rubs. Deep forest green colour, plain, timeless. Finished with aged nails applied by hand one by one.
