This charming bridge armchair in light varnished wood is typical of the 1950s, featuring pale yellow felt fabric enhanced with bronze-coloured studs, beautifully curved armrests combined with the straight lines of the seat and backrest. It will easily find its place in an entrance, a bedroom, or an office. It is in generally good condition: solid, stable, with no fabric perforations, the seat is still firm, and the padding is still well-present. However, it does not hide its 70 years: various marks on the wood, mainly located on the legs. The fabric is worn: a few small stains and minor wear on the seat. It can still be used as is if you appreciate objects that do not hide their history and previous life, or it may undergo a more thorough fabric cleaning (I have only dusted it with a brush and vacuumed) or perhaps a complete renovation: revarnishing the wooden structure and reupholstering with a fabric of your choice. And this is probably the best model for you to tackle yourself: upholstered parts with straight lines, easier to work with than when the fabric covers the wooden uprights or dresses rounded parts. It measures 77 cm in maximum height, 53 cm in maximum width (at the armrests), approximately 43 cm in seat height, and 46 cm in maximum depth.
