Vase of delphiniums, original lithograph signed Cheyssial 1907-1997

Georges-Robert Cheyssial (1907-1997). Winner of the prestigious Prix de Rome in 1932, and future president of the Institut de France from 1975 until his death in 1997, he also received a gold medal at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1951, followed by a medal of honor from the same salon in 1958. Original lithograph, signed and numbered 120/190. Vase of Delphiniums. Dimensions: 56 x 75 cm. Good condition, a very fine early print. There is some visible discoloration in the margins, but the work remains very beautiful.
