Ceramic plate, signed Le Vaucour, Vallauris

Free-form ceramic platter with a modernist look, produced in the 1950s/60s in Vallauris. Its contours are representative of the design of the era. The ceramic is decorated with a volcanic effect glaze in dark brown and grey. Both decorative and functional, it can be used as a cheese board, serving dish, or simply as a decorative object.
