Old Paris porcelain herbal tea pot – hand-painted polychrome decoration, 19th century

This charming antique teapot is made of Paris porcelain. With an elongated octagonal shape, it is adorned with fine, hand-painted coloured motifs. The decoration consists of delicate garlands and polychrome scrolls. The lid's handle is shaped like an apple. Perfect for infusions and herbal teas, it is a small-sized antique pouring vessel. It is a piece of "Vieux Paris" porcelain from the 19th century, which bears no mark. It measures approximately 14 cm in height and 19 cm in width. Note the signs of use and wear on the painted decorations.
