Napoleon III Mirror 72x96cm

Mirror napoleon III with rather sober mouldings, the golden color (gold/brass/copper?) of the frieze slices quite elegantly with black. The motifs make a little orientalist in the layout and foreshadow the art nouveau in form. The mirror is in its juice there are cracks on the patterns and moldings visible in photos, it has some gaps and some slight stitches to the complexion. The glass is not broken or cracked. This mirror lived but it kept a coherence, a unit of the whole, we see the defects that by putting the nose on it. It will be able to adapt in any interior, it can for example enhance, give personality to a modern interior too neutral (white, gray etc.) or resume its original function in a house with a beautiful history. The back bears all kinds of inscriptions, one of which is a visible star in the photo.
