2017. Lamp by Joe Armitage design

Table lamp Joe Armitage - Milan 2017. Dimensions: approximately 30 X 50 cm. Walnut and brass. The story of these lights began in 1952 in India when British architect Edward Armitage envisioned a floor lamp with sculptural lines, made from local materials and reclaimed elements. Nearly 70 years later, his grandson, designer Joe Armitage, brings this family design back to life by launching a collection of lights inspired by this historic creation in 2021. Combining wood, brass, and translucent diffusers, these two models charm with their airy silhouettes, geometric bases, and remarkable balance between function and sculpture. Signed by Joe Armitage, they are witnesses to an exceptional creative heritage, bridging 1950s architecture and contemporary design.
