Great Serpente Lamp by Martinelli

Serpente lamppost by elio martinelli for martinelli luce, 1960s. This floor lamp was designed in 1965 by the founder of the martinelli luce brand, elio martinelli. The lamp is made of methyl-acrylate, a material advanced at that time. The metal arm can rotate at the hinge near the shadow of the lamp, giving this lamp a snake-like appearance. The lamp has a solid and heavy structure. Model circa 1968. Metal materials, methacrylate. Cream color, white. Length 140 cm. Width 54 cm. Height 122 cm. To be noted: burn on the blind.
