Trivet, Longwy enhanced 1930

Enamelled cloisonné trivet with polychrome decoration hand-painted: flowers and cranes. Longwy earthenware enhanced with the initials AK. Excellent condition / No cracks or missing parts. Art Deco period. Shape number: 3358. Decoration number: 652.5. Manufacturer's mark printed on the reverse. The enhancers were true artists. The initials of the enhancers began to appear in the 1930s. KIRCHTETTER Albert (A.K.): born on 13 July 1910 in Longlaville, died on 4 March 1976. Joined the pottery on 18 August 1929, interrupted his work on 19 June 1939, resumed in 1942 until 4 March 1976.
