Pendant lamp by Jo Hammerborg for fog & morup 1960s

You can see a beautiful JO HAMMERBORG lamp from Fog & Morup. This is the Mini Poker model, very good condition in original green color. Jo Hammerborg created the mini poker pendant in the 1960s. Simple but brilliant. Title: Poker Mini Designer: Jo Hammerborg Manufacturer: Fog & Morup Design period: 1960 Country of manufacture: Denmark Style: Midcentury, Scandinavian Modern Original black fabric cable and fitting Johannes (Jo) Hammerborg grew up just outside Randers, in an ordinary middle-class family. He trained as a goldsmith, participated in Denmark's resistance and freedom struggle in 1940-45 as a saboteurs, studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and worked as a goldsmith for Georg Jensen. In 1957 he was hired as chief designer at the lamp manufacturer Fog & Mørup, where he worked until 1980. Height: 19 cm. Diameter: 20 cm. One of the best classic Danish lamps with a high-end design. The lamp comes with a new white electric wire. This lamp dates from the 1960s and belongs to the mid-century modern period.
