Dining table by Glostrup

This solid teak dining table was designed and produced by Glostrup in Denmark in the 1960s. It is a versatile piece that can be used as a round table for 4 people or extended with one or two extensions of approximately 50 cm each to accommodate additional guests. The style is reminiscent of tables by Niels Bach and Niels Moller. The quality is evident, particularly due to the sturdy metal support rails under the tabletop and the great attention to detail in the construction. The tension clamps under the tabletop hold the extensions securely together. Aside from a darker stain on one of the extensions, the table is in very good condition.
