Classic wooden secretary with brass fittings.

Classic secretary likely dating from the early or first half of the 20th century, enhanced with delicate brass fittings and handles. Covered in warm and deep-toned veneer reminiscent of mahogany or walnut, it offers a clever workspace with its drop-down front concealing compartments and small interior drawers, complemented by storage drawers at the bottom. Its elegant lines and structured format will harmoniously fit into an office, living room, or refined bedroom. Condition: The furniture is sound, stable, and perfectly functional, with drawers and the drop-down front opening and closing easily. The surface shows some superficial micro-scratches from use as well as very slight wear on the varnish at the edges, consistent with its age. These discreet signs of time contribute to its authentic charm while preserving its overall beautiful presence.
