Mid-century modern Scandinavian ceramic art design by Stig Lindberg for Gustavsberg, Sweden

A very rare handmade vintage ceramic vase made by the renowned designer Stig Lindberg, known as 'Lazur' from Gustavsberg, Sweden. The inspiration for this vase was mid-century modern shapes, but the colours reference the fantastic shades of the Mediterranean Sea, with various blues and turquoise, making this vase a true standout centrepiece. It is 12 cm high and 12 cm in diameter. There are some very fine crackles in the glaze, but overall it is in very good condition.
