Neo-Baroque Hollywood Regency Round Brass Beveled Wall Mirror, Italy, 1970s

Round Neo-Baroque wall mirror in the Hollywood Regency style, made in Italy in the 1970s and dated 1976 by the stamp on the back. The mirror has a solid brass frame with an openwork frieze of scrolls, leaf tips, and small square bosses, and surrounds a round mirrored plate with a bevelled edge. Neoclassical Louis XVI elements are incorporated into the design. It measures 25.5 inches in diameter, or 65 cm. The mirror is in very good condition. The glass is flawless, and the frame shows only a light, minor patina. It is ready to hang.
