Karel Appel

Karel appel (25 april 1921 – 3 may 2006) was a dutch painter and sculptor, co-founder of the cobra group. Karel appel studied at the royal academy of fine arts in amsterdam from 1940 to 1943 and began exhibiting in 1946. His teachers were picasso, matisse and dubuffet. Lithograph presented is an original print signed by the artist with pencil in 1975 from his original drawing printed in 170 + 5 copies and includes the n°95.
