Magnificent Louis XV style fireplace (Pompadour model), from the Napoleonic III era (19th century), in veined red marble (type Rouge du Languedoc or Rouge Royal). This piece stands out with its exceptional dimensions of 160 cm in width, making it a prestigious model intended for large reception rooms. Features: Frieze: Undulating and sculpted with a central shell in rococo style. Legs: Console-shaped, curved and adorned with moulded reserves. Shelf: Beak-shaped edge, made from a single piece (monolith). Condition: Very good overall condition, healthy marble, no major visible fractures on the lintel.
