Tokyo oak and ebony console

The aesthetics of the console find its inspiration in the traditional Japanese frame. This architectural technique proceeds by stacking pieces of wood that gradually shift towards the interior of the work and gives the roofs of the temples this particular silhouette. The sober structure alternates voids and solids to let the light infiltrate through the sides of the showcase. As in a frame, no part is glued and the whole holds thanks to mechanical assemblies. The feet are held from inside the structure by small ebony clogs and black metal screws that allow them to be positioned wherever you want. They are sheathed on their inner side. The bottom of the showcase rests on a hook of the feet, it is retractable and therefore optional.
