Pair of wall sconces in brass by Boréns, model 6477, produced in Sweden around the 1970s. Each sconce consists of a wide, slightly curved backplate in polished brass, in front of which is placed a semi-circular shade in satin brass. This shade features numerous irregular perforations made in the metal, giving the light a particularly graphic effect once the sconce is lit. The two sconces form a true brutalist pair. One retains its original Boréns label bearing the reference 6477, allowing for precise identification of the model. The sconces have been rewired with new wiring and are ready to be installed.
