Stoneware vase series EJ64 by Einar Johansen for Søholm Stentøj

Straight-necked sandstone vase and globose rump of the ej64 series, designed by einar johansen in 1964 for søholm stentøj in bornholm, denmark. This vase is decorated with a series of scales and covered with a glaze of blue color, shiny, with metallic reflections, designed by svend aage jensen. This glaze varies from the darkest blue to the lightest, with an underlying caramel color. The high neck of this vase is covered with a matte black finish, slightly grainy, contrasting with the glossy glaze of the rumen and mouthpiece. This part, which is in perfect condition, is signed under the base: søholm denmark stentøj, model number 3329 and initials ej for einar johansen.
