Space Age Cascading Pendant from Polam, 1960s

Absolutely amazing space age cascading pendant manufactured by polam (model d-162) - poland, 1960s/70s. Five chromed steel shades with red lacquer on the inside. Beautiful design and high quality. Polam was the leading manufacturer of lighting in poland in the 2nd half of the 20th century. The design of the shades is in the style of hans-agne jakobsson. Cleaned, re-wired and ready to use (compatible in all countries europe, uk, us, etc.). Requires 5x e27 light bulbs, max 40 w each. Led compatible. Height (from ceiling): c. 85 cm; diameter: c. 33 cm; diameter (ceiling cup): 24 cm. The length of the cables can be adjusted per shade. Very good vintage condition. Light wear and patina consistent with age and use.
