3032 – italian art glassware - large vintage 1960s murano “sommerso” soliflore vase, decorative, in free-form multi-layer blown italian art glass, this rare and large unsigned murano “sommerso” soliflore vase in good condition state. No cracks or chips. Amber yellow color mottled and transparent on the outside and white on the slightly twisted inside. Height 310mm X 87mm. Weight 490g. Careful and tracked shipping. For information, “sommerso (immersed)” is a technique consisting of superimposing layers of glass by successively passing the object through different crucibles of molten glass, thus allowing subtle color combinations.
