Iconic pieces of swedish design from the 1970s, these safari armchairs by karin mobring feature a structure in solid honey-patinated pine, combined with a seat and back in thick colored canvas. Their clean and functional design evokes nordic furniture, while offering robust and authentic comfort. Provenance & authenticity first hand – this set was acquired at the end of the 70s from ikea in switzerland (ikea was not in france at the time) to furnish an apartment in les arcs, the emblematic resort designed by charlotte perriand, an absolute reference in alpine modernism.
