White Kangaroo Chairs by Ernst Moeckl for Horn, 1960s | Set of 6

Set of six white kangaroo chairs designed by ernst moeckl for horn collection, west germany in 1968. These stackable chairs from the early 1970s are called both kangaroo chair and z-chair due to the shape of the legs. These chairs were very progressive for the time due to their space age shape and use of materials. They are made of baydur (polyurethane-duromere), refined with high quality dd lacquer. The material is light, strong and durable. The condition is still good considering the age with normal signs of use, such as scratches and some paint damages (see photos). The construction of the chairs is still very good and sturdy. Dimensions: h X w X d = 75 X 45 X 53 cm. The seat height is 42 cm.
