"Tegola" lamp by Bruno Gecchelin for Skipper & Pollux. Circa 1970. Italy. Adjustable lamp, marble base, with cylindrical barrel in chromed metal. Reflector in. Lacquered white sheet metal. Publisher's mark on the dimmer. Tiny scratches on the reflector. The dimmer is no longer operational but the lamp works perfectly. The shape of the reflector recalls the curves of a tile, Tegola in Italian. Bruno Gecchelin is a particularly prolific Italian architect in a variety of fields such as automotive accessories, furniture and even domestic equipment. Article located in Poitiers (86)
