Here's a real beauty. This art deco bonnetiere armoire is one of the must-haves in flea markets. It dates from the 1930s. The entire structure is made of oak and plywood panels. It has been completely sanded and is in perfect condition. The wood has been varnished. Original relief glass that allows for discreet storage while giving a chiaroscuro effect. Pretty molded pediment at the top. Bottom of the door with a flower motif. 🌸 Stair-cut legs. Lock works. Inside, 4 shelves painted blue, adjustable thanks to a rack. The bottom is covered with a magnificent blue wallpaper with flowers and birds. The whole thing gives a beautiful luminous effect through the glass door. 🩵I love the enameled "elixir and perfumes" plaque, which gives a retro look. Plaque handmade by a craftsman. This small, space-saving cabinet. Will be ideal for a child's bedroom (an oak chest with the same paper interior can be combined with it) Or serve as a bookcase or entrance furniture or to store dishes and collectibles in a living room. In short, a crazy charm and a piece of furniture that can be multifunctional and move around the house as you wish. Anecdote: this wardrobe belonged to Yvonne who lived to be 103 years old! Dimensions. 59x32x162 height.
