Crafted in Denmark during the 1950s/60s, this set of six dining chairs is inspired by Henning Kjærnulf’s Brutalist / Baroque Bold style, blending beautifully with country living, modern farmhouse, and modern home interiors. Each chair is solid, with no damage to the wood, frame, or structure. The oak has developed a rich patina over time, giving each piece its own character while clearly belonging together as a set. The designer furniture quality is evident in both craftsmanship and materials. The upholstered seats are in very good vintage condition, with only a few small spots—please see photos for details. We thoroughly cleaned and degreased the chairs, then treated them with oil to preserve the natural grain and highlight the wood’s warmth. The seats are ready to use, foam still good and we would estimate a 3-5 years of usage before reupholstery. All six chairs are firm, steady, and comfortable, with no loose joints, cracks, or odors. The consistent patina and color make them a stunning matched set. These are original Danish chairs—not to be confused with modern reproductions, which often lack the strength, history, and timeless quality of true vintage. This set embodies the essence of Scandinavian design: a perfect balance of function and form, with bold sculptural details that bring both elegance and character to any space—whether classic or contemporary.
