The term coat rack, before qualifying a device on a stand or attached to a wall, allowing to hang coats or other clothing, designated an officer responsible for wearing the coat of a great character such as the king. Then in 1798, the coat rack made its entry into the dictionary of the french academy to designate this wooden or metal hook fixed to the wall to hang clothes. Until then a simple branch, nail or peg in the wall did the trick. But now the coat rack becomes a piece of furniture and decorative object taking up the characteristic shapes of certain styles. This 50s parrot model has the function of wearing coats and hats. It has gone through the decades without taking a wrinkle. It can continue its route in a modern, contemporary interior or a brasserie a café a bar restaurant with a guinguette spirit. Elegant and practical with its six hat hooks and six jacket hooks. It will easily find its place in an entrance, living room, bedroom or bathroom entirely made of solid wood.
