Pink satin glass "undulations" vase with large wavy flowers on the whole vase. Around 1930. Charles catteau's iconic model for scailmont glassware. Unsigned. Height: 21.5 cm. Scailmont. Created in 1901, the scailmont glassworks in the province of hainaut in belgium opened in 1924 a decorative glass workshop led by charles catteau. Many pressed vases moulded in the art deco style were then made according to the models designed by the painter decorator henri heemskerk. Charles catteau also created his own models from 1927.
