Twisted brass covered pot, vintage Indian craftsmanship from the 60s-80s.

Beautiful covered pot made of thick brass, handcrafted in India, vintage from the 1960s to 1980s. It features an elegant bulbous baluster shape adorned with a twisted decoration alternating between a golden and burnished patina. Its matching domed lid is topped with a slender pointed handle that enhances its Oriental silhouette. Quite rare. Height 21cm with lid, 12cm without lid, maximum diameter approximately 14cm. Very good overall condition, with some discreet and harmonious light signs of age, including minor wear to the patina, small stains, and fine usage scratches. Original patina not cleaned to avoid damaging the brown patina.
