Very beautiful antique Art Nouveau suspension in old barbotine from the late 19th to early 20th century, around 1890-1930. Reminiscent of the productions from the Onnaing, Nimy factories... Unknown brand, hand-numbered 63 on the inside. Bowl shape, relief decoration of foliage, peacock feathers, and stylised flowers, in beige, green, brown, and pink tones. Nice flared shape, complemented by a small decorative ball at the lower part. Antique metal chain suspension, covered in light brown paint or old coating, patinated. The suspension measures 28 cm in diameter and 12.5-13 cm in height, so the total height with the 40 cm chain is 52-53 cm. Overall good condition, with two slight chips and a fine hairline on the inner rim, very discreet, as well as small signs of wear consistent with age on the chain; the metal is visible in places, particularly at the hook where it is slightly thinned, but the whole remains solid, although it could be replaced. There are also some marks of friction and light wear of the enamel on the base ball. This piece can be used as a hanging planter or as a light fixture to be electrified, depending on the desired use. Approximately 1.5 kg.
