Impressive pedestal made from a solid wood press screw, with a beautiful warm brown patina. The twisted column, with its sculptural relief, rests on a round base and supports a circular top. Ideal for showcasing a vase, a plant, a sculpture, or a lamp. At 117.5 cm in height, it is a true statement piece, perfect for placing in an entrance, a living room, a library, or near a staircase. It fits well in a chic country interior, English cottage, rustic or brutalist style, as well as in a more contemporary decor. In good used condition, stable and robust. It shows signs of wear that add to its charm: slight traces of use on the top and a small crack or natural irregularity in the wood on the column (see photos).
