Desk lamp by Wim Rietveld, Gispen circa 1960

Wim rietveld, son of the famous dutch designer gerrit rietveld, designed this articulated desk lamp for gispen around 1960. Simplicity and functionality are combined in this lamp whose position can be adjusted in three different places, offering a beautiful flexibility of lighting. We love the petrol blue lacquered metal foot that houses a half-spherical aluminum lampshade, connected to a diffuser that emits a soft and precise light, perfect for workspaces. Edition: gispen, circa 1960. Vintage, good general condition with some traces of use.
