Large glass shelf, 1950s/60s. Likely previously used in a shop window or on a counter, this type of shelf was generally used as a display stand, often in pastry shops, among other places. Composed of a total of 12 shelves, 7 of which (those on the left, right, and the top) are adjustable in orientation. The unit is in perfect condition, having been used recently in a shop. It is made of tempered glass, stamped "Luna Sécurit." (The same type of glass used for automobiles at the time, including the windows of the Citroën 2CV.) Black metal legs with gold-tone caps (the gold patina shows the natural signs of use or age), assembled with screws, making the unit demountable if needed. Dimensions: width 150 cm, height 120 cm, depth 43 cm.
