Magnificent still life in oil on canvas depicting a bouquet of daisies, peonies, and gladioli in a large copper vase. It is signed at the bottom left "M.Troquart" and dated 1929. This is a very beautiful piece that will be perfectly showcased in a living room or bedroom: it is a true explosion of colours, the brush strokes are lively, there is a lovely thickness of material, and the post-impressionist style is stunning! The modern gilded wooden frame is in good condition. The canvas is in its original state, with signs of use and age, slightly sagging with micro holes in places (see last photos).
