This set of four armchairs was designed by Arne Vodder during the 1960s. The chairs represent the characteristic qualities of Danish modernism, combining an elegant, lightweight form with functionality and carefully crafted woodworking details. The frames are crafted from teak wood with a distinctive natural grain. Slender, slightly tapered legs and gently sculpted armrests give the chairs harmonious proportions. Particularly interesting features are the gracefully curved armrest supports, which connect to the side elements of the frames, highlighting the attention to detail characteristic of Scandinavian design. The armchairs feature wide upholstered seats and ergonomically shaped backrests. The open-sided construction and carefully angled backrests give the chairs a sense of visual lightness. Thanks to their timeless design, they are well suited to living rooms, offices and lounge areas. The armchairs have undergone professional woodwork and upholstery restoration. The wooden frames were stripped of the old coating and subsequently finished with oil, enhancing the natural grain and warm colour of the teak wood. As part of the upholstery restoration, the seat and backrest fillings were replaced, and the chairs were reupholstered in new brown fabric, creating a subtle and harmonious combination with the warm tones of the teak wood.
