Dimensions: approx. 200 × 19 × 26 cm (Width × Depth × Height) Elegant and minimalistic wall-mounted shelf in veneered U-shaped construction, designed by Wilhelm Renz for the German manufacturer Walter Wirz in the 1960s. This shelf is an excellent example of the reduced architecture of German Mid-Century Modern design. The noble teak veneer finish gives the piece a warm and high-end appearance. Thanks to the spacers at the back, the shelf appears particularly light and almost floating against the wall – a typical design feature of the era. The shelf is ideal as a bookshelf, wall console, or display surface for art objects and design classics. Condition: Cleaned and freshly lacquered surface. Minor signs of age-related use, such as small scratches and minimal dents, are present but do not detract from its appeal. Original manufacturer's plaque on the back is present.
