Ceramic pitcher vase by Huguette Bessone, Vallauris, 1960s. Copper-brown colour, decorated with a sacrificed motif featuring rich incised graphics inspired by tribal art, typical of this artist's work. In 1954, she opened a workshop in Vallauris with her husband, Marius Bessone. Signed vase in very good condition, with a tiny chip on the neck, barely visible. Height 29cm. Base diameter 12cm. Diameter with handle 17cm.
