China, mid-20th century, superb bronze sculpture depicting a horse in the spirit of creations dating from the tang dynasty. The animal is represented with great grace and realism in a movement characteristic of the equine representations of this period. Nice finesse of the details; quality work. Length 28.5 cm. Height 24.5 cm. Beautiful density: weight: 4, 044 kg before conditioning. Good condition if not very slight normal wear and no impact. No shock or crack.
