Unique collection piece signed from the 1980s from the "artists" collection of the legendary swedish glassware kosta boda. In very good condition (a few scratches on the bottom but no shock or crack or ginning). Ulrica margareta hydman vallien (1938-2018) was a swedish artist specializing in stained glass and decorative painting. In sweden, she has become known for her vases with the motifs of winding snakes, tulips and wolves and her talent as a colorist. A small, iconic blue and yellow speckled suedoise cut from the swedish glass line designed by ulrika hydman vallien, one of the most renowned designers of the time, who made many sought-after pieces for the great kosta boda house. The blue and yellow color are a dedication to the colors of the swedish flag. The cut is a transparent crystal with small "flames" of yellow and blue pigments, which seem to swirl in the material. Slight traces of wear in keeping with the age of the vintage piece. Bought in stockholm in the 1980s; In excellent condition. Unique original signed piece - engraved at the bottom / back of the cup. The diameter is slightly oval. Maximum width 13.5cm and height: 7.5cm. Weight: 460g, max diameter at top 13.5cm / base diameter 5.5cm.
